CLASSES

 

Tiny Tumblers
(4-7 Year Old) 


Perfect for children ages 4-7 years old (may consider older dancers looking for experience), Tiny Tumblers concentrates on balance, coordination, flexibility and strengthening of skeletal muscles. This class is perfect for young dancers who are interested in gymnastics and will focus on introductory tumbling skills such as somersaults, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges.

This 45-minute class class runs in 15 week sessions.


Creative Movement
(3 - 5 YEAR OLD)


This 45-minute class, offered once a week for 15-week sessions, are best suited for preschool-aged children by incorporating all five of the child’s senses. Here, children will learn about musicality and movement skills by skipping, hopping, and clapping to the beat of the music and by learning basic ballet and tap movement in a fun and creative way.

This 45-minute class class runs in 15 week sessions.


Recreation
(6 - 8 Year OLD)


Jazz, Lyrical, and Tap

Young dancers will enjoy this interactive combination class that builds on basic movements learned in creative movement, but is still appropriate for first-time dancers. The jazz class portion includes an introduction to proper warm-ups and stretches for the body combined with across-the-floor progressions and mini-combinations. The lyrical portion of the class encourages the freedom of expression and the creative exploration of movement. Finally, the tap portion of the class will concentrate on building confidence by mastering more difficult patterns and steps.


Recreation
(9 - 11 Year OLD)


Street Jazz/Hip Hop

Dancers will have a blast in these fun, upbeat, and extremely high energy classes. They will receive an introduction to the hard-hitting movements and body isolations characterizing street jazz and hip hop. This class, for beginner-intermediate dancers, specifically focuses on developing rhythm and coordination while encouraging individual style.


Pre-Competitive

This is a transitionary program for dancers who have realized that they are passionate about dance, and want to become more involved. Pre-competitive program provides students with well-rounded dance training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and tap. This is a great opportunity for kids to grow their love for dance and enjoy a competitive environment.

White, MINT, and BLACK Competitive Teams

Our competitive program is recommended for our most advanced students who already have dance training and would like to be challenged further. This program offers intense conditioning, technical training, first-class choreography, and personal attention. Students gain the techniques they need through focused training in jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, and technique.

Adult Jazz and TAP Classes

In these classes, adults will learn and refine the fundamentals of jazz and tap dance. Upbeat and energetic moves will be taught in a relaxed setting. Through technique, adults will go through proper warm-ups and learn combinations that are fun and energetic.
